The firm was established in 1991, and has traded continuously since from offices in the centre of Maidstone.
The Directors of Porters have been involved in licensed property throughout the South East for over 30 years each, and are assisted by skilled negotiators and assistants. Porters Surveyors Limited have a sister company, Porters Intrinsic Limited, that undertake all types of valuations, primarily for licensed trade.
The Partners, John Spacey FRICS FAVLP, Fellow for all Institution of Chartered Surveyors and Member of the Association of Valuers’ of Licensed Property and member of the RICS Arbitration panel, and Independent Expert Panel, graduated with Diploma in Estate Manager, elected to the RICS as an associate in 1970 and a Fellow of the RICS since 1983.
Nigel Thirkell B.Sc. MRICS FAVLP, Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, and Member of the Association of Valuers’ of Licensed Property, graduated with a B.Sc. in Estate Management in 1977 from Leicester Polytechnic, elected to the RICS in 2000.
